ChatPersona.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This is preliminary placeholder copy while the ChatPersona API is in limited, invite-only access. A complete Privacy Policy will replace this page before general availability.

1. What we collect

To operate an account we store your email address, a bcrypt hash of your password (never the plaintext password), a hashed record of your API key (never the plaintext key, which is shown to you once and cannot be recovered by us), and usage metering data — timestamps, token counts, and credits charged per request.

2. What we do not store

We do not store the content of your conversations — the messages and persona payloads you send to /v1/chat are used to generate a reply and are not retained afterward.

3. Payment data

Purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the amount, but we never see or store your card details.

4. How we use account data

Account data is used to authenticate requests, meter and bill usage, review new signups before approval, and operate the service (including investigating abuse of the acceptable-use floor described in the Terms).

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the infrastructure providers necessary to operate the service (hosting, database, payment processing, and the language model provider used to generate replies).

6. Changes

We may update this policy as the service matures out of limited access. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
