Terms of Service

These terms are preliminary while the ChatPersona API is in limited, invite-only access. This is honest placeholder copy, not final legal language — a complete Terms of Service will replace this page before general availability.

1. The service

ChatPersona API provides programmatic access to in-character persona chat completions over /v1/chat, metered by credits. Replies are generated by a language model and are not reviewed by a human before being returned to you.

2. Access is invite-only

Every new account is reviewed before it is approved to call the API. We may decline, delay, suspend, or revoke access at our discretion, including for accounts that violate the one hard content floor described below.

3. Acceptable use

You are responsible for the prompts you send and the personas you configure. Content involving minors, or any other illegal material, is refused by the service and is never a permitted use — no exceptions. Beyond that hard floor, the service is built to hold frank adult conversation without refusing or moralizing; you remain responsible for using it lawfully.

4. Credits and billing

Each reply consumes one credit. New accounts receive a starting allotment of free replies; additional credits are purchased in packs and do not expire. Purchases are processed by Stripe; we do not store your payment details.

5. No warranty

The service is provided on an as-is, invite-only, early-access basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

6. Changes

We may update these terms as the service matures out of limited access. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
